Mushifly

Mushiflies are colourful flying insects with large, patterned wings that can be located almost everywhere on Fungaia, drifting from place to place as they spread harmless spores that eventually grow into new mushiflies.

Biology and appearance

Mushiflies have wide, soft-looking wings that can come in gold, white, bronze and orange. Its body is slim and segmented with a small fluffy collar around the neck, long curved antennae tipped with glowing buds, and thin dangling details that end in rounded, mushroom tips. They are harmless and are most commonly found near mushroom meadow, feeding primarily on plant nectar, fruit juices, and tree sap.

Role in Star Heretic

Mushiflies have no known role beyond drifting through the background, they exist mainly as a common background creature across Fungaia and to fill in the codex.
